Tomato and Hamburger
1 cup cooked hamburger
1 1/4 cup cooked macaroni noodles
1/2 cup ketchup
1/8 cup tomato sauce
1/2 can tomatoes
dash worcester sauce
1/3 cup cooked peas
1/3 cup cooked carrots
Combine ketchep, sauce, tomatoes and worcester sauce. add hamburger and noodles, peas and carrots. Blend in a blender.
Pops for Tots
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tsp. orange juice
1/2 cup pureed strawberries
1/4 cup mashed bananas
4 tsp. lemonade
bowl
popsicle mold
Stir all ingredients put into molds and freese for 30 minutes insert popsicle sticks freese overnight serve
Peanut Butter Goo for Tots
1/2 cup creamy, unsalted peanut butter
1/3 cup rice crispies
4 tbsp dry coconut
1/2 c plain yogurt
combine ingredients in a blender and serve.
Fun Fruit Salad
clean lettuce leaves for base
canned peaches, drained for body and head
raisins for eyes
carrot sticks for legs
shredded carrot (for hair)
licorice for arms
kids have fun making these at birthday parties and they're healthy too!
Fish for Kids
1 filet of any fish, unbreaded, cooked
1/8 c 2% or whole milk
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 cup mashed peas
1/8 c mashed carrots
1/8 c mashed potatoes
put ingredients in blender, blend until creamed babies and small children like it
Creamed Bananas
2 ripe bananas, sliced into small pieces
1/2 cup light cream
pinch sugar
Blend ingredients in bowl until creamy. Serve to child. Stores well refrigerated.
Coconut Yum
1/2 c dried coconut
1/4 c dried apricots, diced
1/2 c whipped topping
1/4 c mashed bananas
1/8 c dried apples, diced
1/8 c bits of dried pineapple
2 tsp hershey's chocolate sauce
1/3 c slightly melted mini-marshmallows (microwave them)
1/8 c seedless grapes, halved
Blend together to make a yummy salad for the kids.
Cheesy Delight
1/8 c 2% milk
1/2 c cottage cheese
1/3 c cream cheese
1/8 c shredded mild cheddar
blend these ingredients until smooth stir in:
1/4 c soft cooked peas
1/8 c diced cooked carrots
top with:
parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella
Bread Crumb Pudding
1 cup white bread crumbs
1/4 cup cream
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 cup diced apples
1/8 cup diced dried apricots
blend and serve
Teething Biscuit Recipe
2 Tbs Shortening
1/2 C. sugar
1 egg
1tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp water
1 1/2 C. baby cereal
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, baking soda, salt, vanilla, and water. Mix until well blended. Gradually stir in cereal. Knead until smooth. Pat into rectangle. Cut into 12 1" bars, smooth edges so they will not be sharp. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake 20-30 min or until dry. Store in uncovered container overnight.
Bacon for Tots
1 c bacon bits
1/2 c bread crumbs
1/3 c ketchup
1/2 c plain yogurt
combine and serve
